A Shared Journey of Hope, Resilience and Connection
Join us for an honest and restorative conversation with cancer survivors as we explore life after a cancer diagnosis. While treatment often takes centre stage, survivorship brings its own challenges, questions, and opportunities for growth.
Navigating Life After Cancer
Cancer can affect many aspects of life beyond physical health. Survivors often face changes in identity, relationships, work, and future plans. During this conversation, cancer survivors will share personal stories about adjusting to life after diagnosis and finding their way forward. The discussion will also cover ways to rebuild confidence, manage uncertainty, and adapt to life’s changes.
Finding Strength and Hope Through Survivorship
Many survivors discover new sources of strength, resilience, and hope throughout their journey. Through open dialogue and shared experiences, our speakers will discuss practical strategies that have helped them navigate daily life after cancer.
Topics may include returning to meaningful activities, communicating with loved ones, managing expectations, and embracing new perspectives.
A Supportive Community for Survivors and Caregivers
Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently undergoing treatment, years into survivorship, a caregiver, or supporting a loved one. Together, we will explore identity, relationships, work, resilience, and hope while building meaningful connections within the cancer community.
Participants can also learn about the support available through 365 Cancer Prevention Society and the Strong Olive community, where we provide information, resources, and connections for individuals affected by cancer.
